Concession of one brownfield hydropower plant

The Agro Trafo Small Hydroelectric Power Plant is located in the municipality of Dianópolis, in the state of Tocantins, which has an installed capacity of 14.04 MW.
 
According to the concession agreement no. 51/99, signed with SOCIBE Energia S / A, the Agro Trafo Small Hydroelectric Plant had its final concession term on 12/7/17.
 
After reconsideration of the previous administrative decision, the Ministry of Mines and Energy - MME, recognized the possibility of extending the concession for the generation of electric power of the Agro Trafo SHP, pursuant to art. 2 of Law no. 12,783 / 2013, with the concrete departure from the penalty provided for in art. 11, paragraph 3 of this diploma.
 
In this context, the extension of the concession of the SHP Agro Trafo awaits Decree that regulates art. 2 of Law 12,783 / 2013.
 
After publication of the aforementioned Decree, the National Electric Energy Agency - ANEEL shall regulate the methodology for calculating the Use of Public Property - UBP, for the purpose of extending the concession.
