What is the event?
The Bela Vista Agricultural Exhibition - EXPOBEL - is an event organized by the Rural Union of Bela Vista and has as main objective to disseminate the agricultural potential concentrated in the interior of the country, on the border between Brazil and Paraguay. The first EXPOBEL took place in July 1972 and consolidated as a traditional agricultural event, a meeting that combines business, culture, tourism and leisure. The fair takes place every year for 10 days at the Rio Apa Exhibition Park. The program is varied, with auctions, concerts, lectures, rodeos, loops, dances and typical food. EXPOBEL has fundamental importance for the economy of the municipality, it drives the commerce and the hotel network, it drives tourism and generates jobs and income. The city of Bella Vista Norte, in Paraguay, is also benefited by the fair.
