Festival JPA

What is the event?

Festival do Turismo de João Pessoa, "Tourism Festival of João Pessoa", known as Festival JPA, is an event in which the objective is to gather and promote integration of the travel and tourism sector, besides of offering new products to the market. The event hosts Fair, Forum, Trainings and some events in parallel.
 

Reasons to attend:

The Festival has been hosted and organized by Sophistiqué Eventos, starting in 2010, in a workshop format, attended by 60 exhibitors and 200 travel agents from the states of Pernambuco, Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte.

And on its 6th edition, which took place on October 2016, 3424 tourism professionals circulated through the pavilion of the João Pessoa Convention Center, an increase of 14% in comparison to the previous year. 207 stands were hosted - a growth of 10.1% compared to 2015. Among the exhibiting companies, 33 were from abroad, which also resulted in a 10% increase. For the first time, we received PANROTAS next, which happened parallel to the event; and once again the Forum of corporate travel management in partnership with ABRACORP.

From the total number of professionals participating in the event, 1025 were travel agents from 15 Brazilian states, mainly from the North and Northeast. Among the numbers and statistics, Festival JPA was positively evaluated by 95.22%. Evaluations made by the exhibitors are between "exceeded and met" expectations.

Festival JPA is already scheduled for 2018, the 8th edition will take place on October 20th and 21st at João Pessoa Convention Center.
